Longwood University campus will close tomorrow, Feb. 12.
In-person classes will not be held in their classrooms. Faculty should communicate with students about their plans for classes, which may include meeting online or alternative assignments. Students should check their email and Canvas for communications.
Amended hours for on-campus facilities are:
Dining
-Dorrill Dining Hall: Operating on a brunch-dinner schedule, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
-Moe's: Open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. with meal exchange available
-POD: Open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. with meal swipe available
-Greens to Go: Closed
-Upchurch Starbucks: Closed
-FarmGrille, Panda Express, Au Bon Pain: Closed
-Chick-fil-A: Closed
Facilities
-Upchurch University Center: Open 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
-Health & Fitness Center: Open 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
-Greenwood Library: Closing at 8 p.m. Thursday; open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday
-University Health Center: Closed
-Wygal Hall: Opening at 10 a.m.
Home athletics events will proceed as scheduled.
The Farmville Area Bus Campus Line will run on a weekend schedule on Friday unless road conditions change and busses stop running.
Students living in Lancer Park are asked to move their vehicles to either the freshman or visitors parking areas.
