Notice: Escaped ICA detainees

This evening area law enforcement was made aware that four detainees at the ICA detention center in Farmville had escaped this afternoon. A multi-agency response team is considering the detainees low-risk, and has indicated they were detained for nonviolent offenses. They are all wearing bright yellow clothing. At this time there is no indication that campus safety is at risk, but out of an abundance of caution LUPD will increase patrols of campus. If you see anyone matching the description of the detainees, please call 911.
