Campus closed 12/8/25

Longwood University campus will be closed on Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, due to expected inclement weather.

An email from Matt McWilliams will go out shortly with detailed information about the revised exam schedule.

Late night breakfast is still happening tonight from 9-10:30 p.m.

Amended hours for on-campus facilities are:

Longwood Dining:

Dorrill Dining Hall: open on a brunch-dinner schedule; 11 a.m to 7 p.m.
Chick-fil-A: 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Moe’s: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
POD: Closed
Panda Express, FarmGrill, Greens to Go: Closed
Upchurch Starbucks: Closed
The Comma: Closed

Facilities:

Upchurch University Center: 10 a.m to 9 p.m.
Greenwood Library: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Health & Fitness Center: Closed
University Health Center: Closed
Wygal Hall: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The FAB plans to operate on a weekend schedule starting at 10:15 a.m.

  • Students living in Lancer Park are asked to move their vehicles to either the freshman or visitors parking areas.
  • Please do not park in the retail spaces at Longwood Landings to allow for treating/clearing the area.
