Amended weekend hours for facilities and dining

Campus community –

With the winter storm forecasted to move into our area tomorrow afternoon, I’m sharing amended weekend hours for campus facilities and dining options, as well as some important information.

Campus facilities

  • Greenwood Library: Saturday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, closed; resources available online (http://library.longwood.edu)
  • Upchurch University Center: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, closed
  • N.H. Scott Center at Lankford: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, closed
  • Health and Fitness Center: Saturday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, closed

Longwood Dining

  • Dorrill Dining Hall: Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • POD Market: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Chick-fil-A: Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, closed
  • Moe’s: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Upchurch Starbucks: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, closed
  • Panda Express: Saturday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, closed
  • FarmGrill: Saturday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, closed
  • Greens to Go: Saturday & Sunday, closed
  • The Comma: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, closed

FAB Bus

The Campus Direct line will stop running at 7 p.m. on Saturday and the Express line will stop at 8 p.m. FAB will not be operating at all on Sunday.

  • Students living in Lancer Park are asked to move their vehicles to either the freshman or visitors parking areas.
  • Please do not park in the retail spaces at Longwood Landings to allow for treating and clearing the area.
  • The National Weather Service is forecasting possible ice accumulation beginning Sunday. For your safety, please avoid Stubbs Lawn and stay clear of large trees, as heavy snow and ice can cause branches to fall.
