After carefully assessing the weather forecast for Friday, Feb. 22, the university has determined that, at this time, conditions do not warrant closing. The online housing registration process scheduled for Friday will be conducted as planned, even if conditions worsen and the decision is made to close the university.
High winds, heavy rain and thunderstorms are predicted for the Farmville area from about 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30.
