Tuesday, Jan. 16, Longwood Dining hours will be:

-Dorrill Dining Hall: open on a brunch-dinner schedule; 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
-Moe’s: plan to open from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
-POD: plan to open from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
-Upchurch Starbucks: plan to open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
-FarmGrille, Panda Express: plan to open from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
-Greens To Go: plan to open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
-Chick-fil-A: plan to open from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
-The Comma: closed

-Upchurch University Center: Open from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
-Greenwood Library: Open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The Farmville Area Bus will operate on a weekend schedule with the Campus Line beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Campus community, Please be aware that this morning at 5:34 a.m. Longwood University police identified and detained one of the escaped inmates from Piedmont Regional Jail without incident. Farmville Police assisted in the arrest. The inmate was injured and in poor health when he walked onto Lancer Park property and pulled an outdoor fire alarm. He surrendered to police and asked for medical assistance. There is no indication that he had previously been on Longwood property. With this arrest, both escaped inmates are back in law enforcement custody and this incident is now closed.
