Please be aware that the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Prince Edward County as well as a tornado watch until midnight.
Timely Warning: Police investigating reported armed robbery

Please be aware that Longwood University Police Department officers are investigating a reported armed robbery this afternoon at Longwood Landings. The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, mid-20s, last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans, a black skull cap and carrying a black bookbag. He was last seen running away from campus.
If you have any information, please call LUPD at 2091.

Longwood University will open at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, March 22.
Amended hours for on-campus facilities are:
-Dorrill Dining Hall: normal hours
-Student Union: opening at 9:30 a.m.
-Health & Fitness Center: opening at 7:30 a.m.
-Greenwood Library: opening at 9:30 a.m.
The Farmville Area Bus will begin operating tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
